Q1:打開 app 後,怎麼加入現場直播?

  1. 連上主辦單位 / 婚顧提供的 Wi-Fi(重要!連錯網路會無法連線)
  2. 打開 DrinkCam app
  3. 按「📷 掃描現場 QR Code」
  4. 對準大螢幕上的 QR 掃描 → 自動跳轉到直播畫面

Q2:按掃描鈕,跳「無法啟動相機掃描」?

三個檢查:

  • iOS 設定DrinkCam相機 是否開啟?
  • 確認 Wi-Fi 連到主辦單位提供的網路(不是手機 4G / 公用 Wi-Fi)
  • 關閉 app 完全(從工作列上滑)再重開

Q3:掃 QR 之後跳「無法安全連線」?

這代表 app 已連到伺服器,但憑證信任有問題。請洽現場工作人員確認 Mac 已正常啟動 DrinkCam Director; 通常重新啟動現場主機可解決。

Q4:影像有延遲、卡頓怎麼辦?

  • 確認你的 iPhone 網路訊號良好(Wi-Fi 訊號弱會丟封包)
  • 移動位置靠近現場路由器
  • 關閉 iPhone 上其他耗網路的 app

Q5:可以拿來婚禮以外的場合用嗎?

目前 DrinkCam 針對婚禮敬酒場景優化。其他場景(運動賽事、生日派對)正在籌備中, 歡迎來信告訴我們你想要的玩法。

🛠 工程模式(給技術人員)

什麼是工程模式?

當現場無法掃 QR(例如 QR 解析失敗、現場光線太暗),可改成手動輸入伺服器 IP:

  1. 在連線頁連點 🥂 logo 五下(1.5 秒內)
  2. 頁面下方會出現「工程人員模式」區塊
  3. 輸入 IP(例如 192.168.1.116)→ 按手動連線

💡 IP 由現場 Director 頁面右上角顯示,洽工作人員索取。

📱 Guest / Staff FAQ

Q1: How do I join the on-site livestream?

  1. Connect to the Wi-Fi provided by the organizer / wedding planner (important — wrong network = no connection)
  2. Open the DrinkCam app
  3. Tap "📷 Scan QR Code"
  4. Aim at the QR on the main screen → you'll be brought into the livestream

Q2: Tapping scan shows "Cannot start camera scan"?

Three checks:

  • iOS Settings → DrinkCam → Camera — is it on?
  • Confirm Wi-Fi is the organizer's network (not cellular / public Wi-Fi)
  • Force-close the app (swipe up from the app switcher) and relaunch

Q3: After scanning, "Cannot establish a secure connection"?

This means the app reached the server but certificate trust failed. Please ask the on-site staff to verify the Mac is running DrinkCam Director correctly; usually restarting the host resolves it.

Q4: Video lag or stuttering?

  • Verify your iPhone has a strong Wi-Fi signal (weak signal = packet loss)
  • Move closer to the venue's router
  • Close other network-heavy apps on your iPhone

Q5: Can I use DrinkCam for non-wedding events?

DrinkCam is currently optimized for wedding toasts. Other scenarios (sports, birthday parties) are in development. We'd love to hear your use case — email us.

🛠 Engineer Mode (for technicians)

What is Engineer Mode?

When QR scan fails (e.g., parse error, dim venue lighting), you can manually enter the server IP:

  1. On the connect screen, tap the 🥂 logo five times (within 1.5 seconds)
  2. An "Engineer Mode" panel appears at the bottom
  3. Enter the IP (e.g., 192.168.1.116) → tap Connect

💡 The IP is shown at the top-right of the on-site Director page — ask the staff.
